Venus is a two-faced cat that is approximately 11 years old. She is a celebrity on the web thanks to her characteristics that make her very striking. In fact, she looks rather two-faced. One eye is green while the other is blue. And one side of her face is covered in black fur while the other is orange. This feature that gives it its look might be because of a condition called “chimerism.”

Venus was adopted in 2009 from a dairy farm in North Carolina, ( USA), according to The Dodo. Her adoptive mom is extremely happy with her, she claimed that she is a really very sweet cat and does not usually harm the furniture in her house; has its own scratching post.

Leslie Lyons, a professor at the University of California at Davis, studies the genetics of domestic cats, referring to Venus talked to National Geographic and expressed that she had actually not seen another cat with her characteristics.
